How To Use

Apply every morning and evening. Get your face and hand wet and take about 2~3 cm of cleansing foam into your hand, add some water little by little to work up a rich lather, whip in some air, cleanse gently using entire palms, cupping the face with a rich lather. Rinse off well with lukewarm water.

Sseng Eol Whipping Cleansing

It is a low pH cleanser, unlike the harsh alkaline ones that you get in the market. Low pH cleansers are much more gentle to your skin, they are good for acne-prone skin because low pH makes the skin less suitable for bacteria to thrive. As our skin’s natural ph is slightly acidic (that is low pH), it keeps the skin barrier, hence, in check.

This cleanser is also free of SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). If you ever have felt that your cleanser is making your skin feel tight, irritated, itchy and your eyes very dry then SLS in your cleanser is likely to be the reason. SLS is an ingredient that is incorporated in most cleansers, soaps, and shampoos as a foaming agent. However, while its link to cancer is debatable, there is no doubt that it is not the best ingredient for sensitive facial skin. So I always steer away from products that contain SLS as I have pretty sensitive skin.

Now, even though it does not have SLS, this cleanser still gives a good foam owing to its stearic acid component.

Performance

Using this face wash for over a month now and my trial period has seen both the harsh dry winter and the humid summer so I can give a thorough well-rounded review.

The skin becomes exceptionally dry and covered with patches due to dehydration. I was a bit worried about trying a new cleanser at such a time but after 10 days I realized, this face wash was not going to make my skin dry whatsoever. It has Amino acid and I think because of that, after every wash, my skin feels very smooth to touch and dry patches too, don’t appear.
